Hayward L. Johnson, Jr “Peanut”
Sunrise: July 27, 1954 Sunset: April 4, 2020
Hayward L. Johnson, Jr “Peanut” was born on July 27, 1954 in Warwick, GA to Hayward L. Johnson, Sr. and Mayola Lawrence Johnson (Deceased)
As an adolescent Peanut moved to Wildwood, Florida with his father. As an adult he lived in Jacksonville and then spent a short period of time in Miami where he became a loyal Hurricane fan. He later found his way back to Wildwood and started working security for Galaxy Home Solutions. This is when he met his right-hand man Steve. They did everything together and developed a special bond. Peanut enjoyed life. He enjoyed riding his bicycle everywhere he went. He was well known and loved by everyone and never met a stranger. In the words of Peanut, he was “Nationwide.”
Our hearts are saddened today but loving memories will always remain in the hearts of his, parents: Hayward L. and Ruby Johnson, sisters Deloris Scott, Regina Johnson, Angelia Washington (Michael), brothers David Johnson (Brenda), Michael Johnson (Michelle), Gregory Coleman (Katonia), Gerry Coleman, uncle Willie Lawrence, cousins Barbara Lee and Herbert Clark, Jr and special friends Steve and Debbie Munz along with a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
still loved, still missed and very dear
With grateful hearts, the family wishes to extend our sincere appreciation for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to us during our time of bereavement.
