Obituary for Beverly Goodell

Beverly Ann Goodell (nee Parker) passed away peacefully at home November 24, 2019, surrounded by her family. Her strong and beautiful spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Dean E. Goodell, June 30, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her son Randall T. Goodell, March 17, 1971; and her grandson, Colin R. Goodell, August 14, 2017.
She was born on February 20, 1927, in Ashtabula, OH, to parents Faye and Edna Parker. She married the love of her life, Dean Goodell, on September 3, 1947. She and Dean loved the outdoor life and passed that love on to their children. Camping, sailing, and tennis were a few of their favorite activities.
Beverly’s relationship with Jesus Christ was strong and sacred to her. Because of Him, He made the hard times in her life easier and her passing from this life peaceful and joyous.
She is survived by a family she adored and that became her whole life. Son, Marc D. Goodell of Jupiter, FL; daughter, Carol A. Goodell of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Sharon F. Farrell (nee Goodell) of Orlando, FL; daughter, Karen E. Goodell of Orlando, FL; daughter-in-law, Paula Cullum of Houston, TX; granddaughter Lisa Connell (nee Goodell) of Austin, TX; grandson Dustin Deems of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; granddaughter Chelsea LaBlanc (nee Ewing) of Sanford, FL; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 11:00-11:30 AM on Friday, December 6, 2019 with Funeral service to follow at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, FL.
