Mr. Dietz was a very rare individual and one of the finest men I have encountered in my life. He dedicated a lot of his free time in serving the community and especially South Sumter High School athletics and local youth programs. He always had something positive to say about people and situations. No matter where you ran into Fred, he was always willing to talk about sports, especially South Sumter. He has certainly left some big shoes to fill. Condolences to the family during this time of sorrow. Guy Simmons
