Obituary for Lewis High "Bud" English

Lewis High “Bud” English, 86, of Altoona, FL passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018. He was a lifelong resident having been born in Altoona. He was a commercial fisherman, an avid hunter, fisherman, and shrimper. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his many dear friends, young and old.

He is survived by his loving wife: Susan English; daughter: Tammy (BJ) Olmstead; sons: John (Kalea) English and Michael Hartman; stepdaughters: Melanie (Rick) Wissick, Valerie Herkal, and Jennifer Hehe; grandchildren: Mitchell Long, Cain English, Bryson and Averi; sister: Eva Jarrett; and his beloved dog: Zoie Lynn. He was preceded in death by his grandson: Brennen English.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Umatilla with Pastor Brooks Braswell officiating. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to help with expenses.
