Phyllis May Sullivan, 60, of Ocklawaha, Florida, passed away on July 5, 2018 at the Villages Hospital in Lady Lake Florida. Phyllis was born January 2, 1958 in Lexington, North Carolina. She moved to Florida with her family in 1981. Phyllis was a dental hygienist by trade, and a member of the Assembly of God in Lady Lake, Florida. Phyllis was a die hard Gator fan, loved spoiling her grandchildren, and going to the lake.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Winston May Sr., mother, Frances M. May, her sister Donna Loman, and brother Ricky May. She is survived by her soulmate Johnnie Sullivan, four children, Shelly McCann of Largo, Florida, Marty Sullivan (Emily) of Burlington, North Carolina, Robbie McCann (Lisa) of Ocklawaha, Florida, LeeAnne Sullivan of Ocklawaha, Florida, eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She is also survived by four siblings, Robert May (Nancy) of Statesville, North Carolina, Linda Sackett of Greensboro, North Carolina, Larry May of Floral City, Florida, and Debbie Messer (Ted) of Inverness Florida.
