Obituary for John Edward Kranich Jr.

John Edward Kranich, Jr., 84, of Altoona, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was born in Easton, PA. He was a carpenter for Coven Construction and also a retired volunteer fire chief of Lake County Stations 45 & 46. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his son: John E. (Lela) Kranich, Jr., Absecon, NJ; daughters: Mary Ann (Tom) Welton, Eustis, FL, Barbara Moyer (David Smith), Eustis, FL, Joan (Charlie) Pell, Tavares, FL, Carol Ann (Randy) Stacks, Eustis, FL; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Joan Kranich.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel in Umatilla, FL. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice at 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
