Jim died suddenly Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the age of 67.
Born September 18, 1950 in Detroit, MI, James Troy Glover grew up in Miami, FL. When he wasn’t playing baseball, fishing or hunting, he attended school graduating from Miami Coral Park High School in 1968.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Cuba at Guantanamo Bay.
He was employed in the building trades for several years, served as a fire department engineer in the Panama City area and later, obtained his real estate license and worked for Starwood Corporation in Orlando for several years.
A resident of The Villages for the last eleven years, when he wasn’t playing Division 2 or 3 softball or fishing with The Villages Deep Sea Fishing Club, he worked on real estate investment properties projects with his friend, Merry Lynn Brondos.
He is survived by his spouse of 26 years, Michelle Septer, and their children, Troy Glover and Heather Hall, all Floridians.
Friends of Jim are invited to a memorial gathering in his honor Friday, May 25, 3:00 pm, at the Laurel Manor Recreation Center (Jefferson Room) located in The Villages near the intersection of #466 and Buena Vista Blvd.
