Mr. Edward William Dickhausen, age 84, of Bushnell, FL, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville, FL. He attended First Baptist Church of Bushnell in Bushnell, Florida and was a member of Sterling United Methodist Church in Sterling, Michigan. He was retired from Northern Tube in Pinconning, Michigan and served in the Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Dickhausen; son: Steven Edward Dickhausen (Norma) of Sterling, MI; daughter: Rita Ann Black (Douglas) of Bushnell, FL; brother: Richard Dickhausen (Carol) of Standish, MI; daughter-in-law: Peggy Dickhausen of Standish, MI; three sisters: Rosaline Hill of Standish, MI, Ruth Ann Rodgers (Robert) of Pinconning, MI, and Donna Dubey (Jim) of Sterling, MI; eight grandchildren: Brandon Dickhausen, Kristy Dickhausen, Christopher (Kyrstin) Black, Ryan Black, Angela Black, Shawn (Rachel) Bemis, Katie (Brandon) Milligan, Paul Swartout; and nine great-grandchildren: Alexzia Deshone, McKenzie Dickhausen, Blakley Dickhausen, Triston Bemis, Lukas Bemis, Lillian Bemis, Tyler Milligan, Caleb Milligan and Elizabeth Chapman. He was preceded in death by his parents: William Dickhausen and Margaret Mary Heinz; son: Timothy Dickhausen; sisters: Arlene Goodroe and Katherine Schwab; brothers-in-law: Donald Schwab, Joseph Goodroe, Ward Hill; and niece, Tracy Cameron.
He will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, with military honors, at a date to be announced.
Arrangements are being handled by Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory - Purcell Chapel, 114 W. Noble Ave., Bushnell, FL.
