Frances "Irene" Einstein
Frances Irene Einstein, 88 of Leesburg, FL passed away January 7, 2018. She was born January 5, 1930 in Wauchula, FL and moved to Leesburg in 1943. Irene was a homemaker and also worked as manager of the W. W. Mack Dime Store; in sales at both McCrory’s and Woolworth; owned and operated the Pixie Ladies Dress Shop in Tavares as well as co-owned Bobby’s Grocery in Leesburg. After “retiring” she worked for 14 years at the Happy Days Nursery in Leesburg. For many years she was an active member of the South Street Church of God where she was a part of the choir and nursing home ministry as well as visiting shut-ins.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, survivors include: son Robert F. “Robbie” Jr. and his wife Carol Jean of Leesburg; 2 daughters: Brenda Isom of Lady Lake and Shannon Arceneaux and her husband Kent of Ponce Inlet; 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister Doris Bass; brother Leroy Conerly and his wife Sue; sister in law Margaret Conerly; as well as many children whom the Einstein’s fostered. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. “Bobby”, Sr in 2017; daughter Cathy Kirby in 1998 and brothers Douglas and Jimmy.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 10, 2018 beginning at 2 PM in the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg with a viewing and visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will follow the Funeral at Lone Oak Cemetery in Leesburg.
