Obituary for William Ward
W. Craig Ward breathed his last breath and died at a good old age, old and satisfied. A beloved and generous man he played many roles throughout his life: scholar, father, teacher, coach, and many more titles could be attributed to this fine human being. As a Hill school, Tufts University, and Bridgeport University alumnus, he accomplished many academic goals including attaining a Master’s Degree plus 60. As a father of 2 he cared and provided for his family always. As a biology teacher and track coach at Sleepy Hollow High School in Tarrytown NY he earned the respect and love of his students, athletes, and faculty alike. He was a friend to many over the years at the Royal Highlands community in Leesburg FL, where he passed away at home at age 74. Survived by him are his son, Brandon C. Ward, daughter, Becky L. Sturycz, and loyal companion Peggy Imig, as well as 2 brothers and 3 grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
