Obituary for Robert "Bob" Morino

Robert Morino, 87, of Leesburg, Florida died August 2, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospice after a brief illness. He was born September 17, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York to John and Mary Morino. He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends, puttering in his yard and playing cards. He was a loyal New York Mets fan and a life long fan of Frank Sinatra. He was also an avid reader who read two newspapers every day and also enjoyed telling riddles to everyone just to make them smile. After retiring from the US Postal Service he made Leesburg his home in 1992.
Bob is survived by one of his five siblings, his sister, Virginia Carravone of Staten Island, New York; his daughter, Bonnie Horn of Columbia, SC; son, Martin Moss of Bronx, New York; his step-daughter Sherry Farago of British Columbia, Canada; and his grandson Heywood Horn of Spokane, Washington.
Family will receive guests Friday, August 4, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg. Graveside services will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
