Obituary for David Mancini
David Jonathan Mancini, 92, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2017 at Freedom Pointe Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center at The Villages, Florida. He was born on June 13, 1924 in Endicott, New York. He was one of four children. David grew up in Richmond, VA where he attended Richmond public schools. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war, he returned to Richmond and married Joan Moyer. David was an entrepreneur in commercial and residential floor covering. He also owned and operated the Stage Coach Family Restaurant in Richmond, VA for many years. David is survived by three sons, Mark (and Jamie), Burnsville, MN; Mathew, Henrico, VA; Michael (and Cindy), Franklin, TN and seven grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan and all of his siblings.
Visitation and ServiceVisitation will be held at the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 9 – 11 am. Funeral Services will follow at 11 am followed by internment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
